Have a firm hand. Your going to need it!

At this age they have so much energy. Ask the parents not to load them up on sugar prior to the meetings and be sure some of them stay to help you or you'll just become a 'baby sitter' for a night out for them.

for tiger cubs I think the parents have to stay at all the meetings with the kids.

already had that but thanks :yay: just looking for some first hand experiences.
Have each parent take a meeting to run. Have them pick a Den Achievement to do at that meeting. They can also do electives.
I suggest doing the Go See It for sports now. One option is to find out if one of them is on a team, and have the other guys go to the game to chear him on. Or, go to a High School game. Nowhere does it say that it has to be a professional team. Just a sport that is done by professionals (think about it, it'd be kinda hard for a team in western north dakota to go to a pro-ball game).
One of our Go See It's was to the corn maze on 234 by L'town. Call ahead and they will give you a group rate.
For the Communication Go See It, we went to the State Police Barracks in La Plata (Thanks Kizzy!) and had a great tour.

I also meant to say that I work in Silver Spring, about 10 minutes (with traffic) from the NCAC Scout Shop. Way better selection than Peebles in the Park or Beacon in 'dork. If you need something, le tme know and I can pick it up for you. I don't drive every day, so give me a couple days.

If you have not done the patches on the uniform yet, get the die-cut sticky backing from BSA, do NOT sew them on. It's like $8.00, but well worth it. Also, I recommend you get all your parents together and buy the Pack number as a single patch, rather than 4 individual patches (you can order it, or I can get it from the Scout Shop).

Now you share this:fingersstillsore:

In all seriousness, Nomo... I'm thinking you should have your Tiger scouts hook up with Dieno's girl scouts for one meeting... it's never too early to get ones socializing badge ya know...:bubble:
