Tiki Bar

One funny moment. The bikers are across from the Tiki at the parking spaces, getting ready to go, revving engines, etc. A woman on a bicycle is cruising down the hill (from the lab area) as they seem ready to pull out in front of her. The sight/sound of her ringing her little bicycle bell as a warning to these guys not to pull out in front of her seemed was highly amusing. You could barely hear her bell with all the engine noise.
They do that when I'm on my Schwinn, too, but I don't bother ringing my bell. The funny part is that my ancient Schwinn weighs only slightly less than a full-dress Harley.

It's all Otter's fault. He put that picture in my head of you on a bicycle ringing your little bell at the motorcycles. :lmao:

I think the tiki bar is extremely boring! You can't dance, you can't hear music all you can do is stand there. After about one Mai tai, I am off to bad fish. I like bad fish, you can sing, dance and hear the music and its not as crowded.

What is the food like at Badfish? I went there once, we were seated, after 20 mins. and no waitstaff, we left. We never even asked if we wanted drinks.

I have always liked the Tiki Bar...although I will agree that there isn't much to do there as far entertainment goes. I was just back in Maryland for a visit to my parents last week and stopped in at the Tiki with them for a Mai Tai...and you are right about having one and heading elsewhere....
I think of it as more of a starting off point then some place to hang out all night. But back in the day, I must say that I had some pretty fun times hanging out there. Hanging out on Solomon's alone was a blast. What was the name of the place that is now Cattameran's. Would have been about 10 years back or so? Anyone remember? Been driving me crazy trying to remember.
