They changed the rules. You register, then you have to wait for Admin to activate you. I doubt she originally registered at 2am b/c I doubt DeeJay was up activating registration requests.

It's an automated process, if you have a valid email address then you get activated. Do you think she actually sits there and reviews each request for membership?

They did for awhile. I think they've gone back to the old automated process.

There must have been some human element to it. I had a friend register a few weeks ago and she waited and waited to be approved. She still wasn't approved before she left work, but by the time she got home, there were 8 new members. It'd been a pretty busy day on the forums and it seems funny that all these people got approved right at the 5:00 slow down. If the process was automated I wouldn't think they'd be approved en masse.
