Did everyone catch Timmy Hill win the iRace at Texas Motor Speedway yesterday? Not too bad for having $250 dollar rig.

My wife and I are actually enjoying these virtual races. 1-1/2 to 2 hours and the race is over.

They are entertaining, especially since that is our only option at this point. I give them props for trying it. What is there to lose? And seeing Timmy Hill do so well is awesome. I wonder if that will translate to the real cars, as far as sponsors and opportunities.

He hasn't had a finish lower than 3rd since they started televised Cup iRacing.

If you caught NASCAR iRacing last night, our own local Timmy Hill finished 6th on the street course in Chicago. He pulled off a last lap pass of Matty D for the spot.

I have to say, it was fun watching them race the Next Gen car in the streets. Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer, and all of the drivers interviewed were like... yeah, we need to do this for real. Hell, I'd like to see it. An Australian named James Davidson smoked the field in the 51 lap race.
