I heard that St. Margarets Island is - or was recently - up for sale too. Bullock Island changed hands about three years ago too. Lots of "island turnover" locally these days.

Bullock's sure did...it lost a bunch of what little remained just in the past three years. New owner getting enough shoreline construction done to get it stopped now..or soon. Tippity never had much of a problem with shoreline erosion....its pretty well isolated from much wave action.
We just (literally just..as in end of last week) had a 1.2 million$ shoreline erosion control project finished up - all but the vegetation planting - out on St. Catherine's Island. That nearly completes protection for most of our shoreline that had erosion issues.
