What do you all think about this for parking a trailer?
24"x72" Closed Cell PVC Foam Mat.

Mats & Runners | Anti Fatigue | Diamond Plate 1/2 Inch Thick Mat 24x72 Black | 252663BK - GlobalIndustrial.com

These are not designed for a vehicles weight, nor for outdoor useage. I will note the horse stall mats above will each yield two 2'x6' mats, are very dense, each 4'x6' mat weighs 100lbs. That density means durability. And you can go right to TSC and feel them, they have stacks right by the front door.

Way to heavy.
Wife will have to move them at the barn.
Never gets to park the trailer in the exact same spot.

If ya don't like the idea I initially posted about making them from wood. How about some of these newer plastic planks people use for making outdoor decks?

I am guessing just two of those, say 2"x8" by 5' or so. Just lay them flat on the ground and back up on them. I would assume reasonably lightweight, won't pick up water, easy to move.

Just thinking out loud.

Looking for some kind of light weight pads for when she uses the trailer she hooks up, moves forward, throws pads in bed of truck, gets back to barn after her trail ride, backs up to a different spot, throws down pads that were in the truck bed, backs up and parks the trailer on top of the light weight pads that she just put down.

Not a very hard concept to think about.
