The dentist can have you fitted for a mouth piece to wear to bed. It isn't all that comfortable, but it does provide relief. Sometimes, this condition comes and goes. If it isn't something you have had to deal with all your life, the mouth piece may be better. The wives tail with this is that you take your problems to bed and take it out on your jaw and teeth.

You got problems you want to tell us all about Dowhat? We are all friends here. Well, sorta. :flowers:

Took a while to get used to the mouthpiece but now I sleep much better with it. Try it if your Dr. or dentist recommends it, it is so worth it.

FYI
TMG can also cause severe sinus and hearing problems.
Great. I do have a very mild case of tinnitus (ringing of the ears) and am now wondering if they are related.

Heard the mouth piece was only for ones who grind the teeth.
I don't grind my teeth.

Problems? Could be NMCI related. Not getting the forum fix at work (unless I wait the 10 min. for the page to load).

Are clicking jaws always TMJ? My jaw clicks every time I eat and often when I just open it. It always has. My dads does too. It doesn't hurt me though. I never thought about TMJ. However, my sinusus have been getting progressively worse in the last few years. Possible related?
