I found myself glued to the live feed watching the thousands upon thousands… all races, all religions, etc. bonding, singing, laughing, enjoying their freedom to congregate and display their pride in being Americans. I was especially moved by the large groups who migrated from Cuba and were very proud to be here and a part of the display of patriotism.

While many people were charged with crimes, the overwhelming number were charged with - essentially - trespassing.
I did read one woman was able to get her charge dismissed, since she was able to show she was let in, and left soon after.
THIS is why they don't want the videos releasted - it erases the narrative.
This was not the Bastille blown open with cannons and gunfire. Some people broke windows, but out of a crowd of 200k, no more than a thousand went in. No one inside was killed that day - except for protesters. None of the protesters shot a gun - at all.
Sheesh, if this was some frenzied mob trying to take over the government - you know, they're always accused of having too many guns. Well why didn't they bring them inside, that day?
I also recall one officer going into the Chambers and asking if everyone was okay, and everyone was, and left it at that. No harm, no foul.

850 people have been charged with crimes. One police officer is permanently blinded 4 others are dead. One domestic terrorist was killed because she believed the lies Trump and Fox news told her.
Documents were stolen , the building it self was defaced and defecating in and peed on. A gallows was built to hang the VP
Families torn apart and a father killed his whole family and himself because of this nonsense yesterday.

Well folks I am reading what you have to say and it pretty much jibes with my own recollections, There were a few rowdy people there, and IMO some of them were instigators from ANTIFA and others perhaps FBI, but in all it was certainly not an insurrection.
That said. There are people that are still in jail without trial, without bail who cannot even speak to their attorneys if they have one after their bank accounts were closed by the Government.
Someone should have to pay for this atrocity to our Constitution. These people are not murderers or terrorists most of them were tourists, and they have been in prisoned and mistreated, and their rights have been violated.
