Supper's Ready
isn't easy. 
I guess you have to dig out the roots completely. But now that I see there are new sprouts everywhere, I'm just going to watch to see how it grows. This one was around 7' tall before we had to cut it this past winter (it was unable to stand on its own). I counted 11 new sprouts off of this stump.
Also, trying a little herb planting for the first time. Rosemary is growing quickly, along with oregano, mint, and thyme.
Some flat leaf parsley
and yes, first time also for growing a tomato plant, have a couple already.
and cayenne peppers, we'll see if these guys need more room (first time for all of these, too).

I bet you're looking forward to seeing how they turn out. I can't believe this is the first time we're trying to grow anything. I'm thinking if we don't grow enough, we'll want more. But if we grow too much, we'll want to can 'em. Another thing we'll have to learn how to do. All good...
Someday, once I get all these flower beds and the rest of the yard the way I want it, I'll start veggie and herb gardens. I'd really like to pick peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes in the back yard because I eat them almost every day when they're in season.
