You were actually my inspiration for the turkey
@my-thyme. I just did a turkey breast this year, only a few people who only ate white meat. I sliced it and put it on a white platter and looked at it and thought WWMTD (what would my-thyme do) so I stuck a few springs of parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme (also thought WWS&GD) and artfully sprinkled a handful of fresh cranberries among them.
The male comments: Are we supposed to eat that?
Me: No it's garnish
Brother: You mean garish?
Me: No garnish.
Lee: Is it edible?
Me: It's garnish. It makes it pretty.
Lee: If it's not edible why bother?
Me: Somewhere Martha Stewart is smiling upon me.
I was a little buzzy but I'm fairly certain I heard a bell chime. At that moment, another cook got her wings.
