to rescue group at shelter this weekend

Who did you talk to? The lady that runs the rescue and owns the clinic or the woman who works at the clinic?

I talked to a nice lady at the rescue. Another lady was in the background saying "tell her I'll call her back, I know who that is". Then the lady on the phone started backpedalling. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they call tomorrow after they pick the kitten up.

Probably the lady on the phone was the one working at the clinic, office manager. The lady in the background was probably the owner of clinic and president of the rescue group. She was probably given a call from the shelter that you may be calling. I hope it works out for you. Let us know tomorrow.

Thanks. Me too. I'm just not feeling it. Hope I'm wrong. The cat couldn't find a better home. I just don't understand why they wanted me to wait and have it go to PetSmart to pick it up at some unknown time. Why wouldn't I just pick it up there once it was healthy enough to go home?

If the shelter knew you wanted her why would they allow a rescue to take her? When we went there we paid for our cat right away.

Hey. I went to the rescue's door this morning, talked with the girl there and managed to get the cat.

Just got her home. My other kitty has been stiffing me like crazy. She's not sure what to think.

Thanks everybody. She is super sweet. Snuggling in my lap right now and kneading on my belly. I was telling catt how badly she stinks. She has poo matted in her tail and she smells like the shelter. She just got spayed 2 days ago so I can't submerge her.

Any suggestions? I can't even describe the stink.

They make cat wipes which look like baby wipes and you just wipe her down. Even a wet warm cloth with a gentle soap on it and just sorta pet her with it.

My cats absolutely love it!! Just rub over their fur with it they think your just petting them.

This kitty sat and purred while I washed her up (I used those wipes too). She still stinks. My other cat loves it, too. Strange, huh?
