This might be the worst thunder storm I have ever personally witnessed. If I get hit by lightning (which seems to be a distinct possibility) and it fries my brain, please do not resuscitate.
Thank you.
Thank you.

ST, do you realize that if someone new logs on right now they will think you're a woman?
Right by the "High Water" sign? Never seen water there, always wondered what it would take for the water to come over the road there.Chasey_Lane said:I didn't notice much rain in Arlington, but as I was coming home from the gym last night, there was rushing water on Mechanicsville Road, just passed Yowasaki Mill. Stupid me got my camera out AFTER I had crossed it.

Back in Missouri, thunderstorms lasted for at least 2hrs. Every once in a while they were severe but for the most part they were those low rumbling types.
I remember when i was a kid i would sit out on the back portch and listen till it was time to go to bed, and then i would just lay there watching the soft glow of the arc's as they flew across the sky.
Some lightning storms didnt make any thunder at all, you would see the flash way up high but no thunder:shrug:
i allways wondered the scientific reason for such a thing.

Yep, right there! It was actually very neat to see. I'm gonna' ask the b/f to take a picture this evening. Otherwise, I won't travel that road until tomorrow night. It won't be as flooded then.huntr1 said:Right by the "High Water" sign? Never seen water there, always wondered what it would take for the water to come over the road there.
Accident as reported by SMT.renegadeslave said:When I went through Chancellor's about 1:30 yesterday, the road was already flooded and someone had run off the road. They prolly closed it until the stream died down.
