I mean, it was enough to cancel my son's kayaking. Not complaining - much. I typically just wait the entire time, because there's no point in going home and returning, it just takes too damned long. I just hate that he missed a practice when it didn't even sprinkle, and we were promised Noah's flood.

There was lightning in the area, and being on the water with lightning is never a great idea. I'm sure it was cancelled for that more so than the rain.
