You know I'm just kidding. It's a good thing when a man knows his way around the kitchen, the yard, the tool belt and doesn't mind doing any of it. Atta boy.

Ok, just opened one up and tried it. Cake is just fine.

Two things I'd do different next time:

I used spray vegetable oil, spraying the entire inside of the jar. Left the outside of the cake a bit oily. I think one shot of oil and a wipe with a paper towel would be better.

I didn't fill it enough, and some of the cakes wound up being pretty small after cooling and shrinking. Better to fill a little over halfway so it bakes taller than the jar, and squash it a bit when you put the lid on. It will be just about right when cool. Different brands may rise differently too.
