Which one? I have a 5D (and I still have my old Digital Rebel), I think Lugnut has the XTi, I think rack'm is going with the 30D (if he doesn't have it yet). What do you want to know?

It has some cool capabilities...few of which I would use.

A more durable shutter, enhanced AF, greater burst capability... and - what I think is most interesting - the Highlight Tone Priority option. Those are pretty substantial improvements to me. :shrug:

It's just not worth upgrading from the full-frame 5D for me. Now, if they come out with a 1Ds Mark III...

Well, when I'm coming from a Rebel, the 1.3 conversion factor is an improvement.

I probably will come nowhere near being able to buy a Mark III, but I'm hoping there will be a price shift so I could look at a 30D or 5D. Or maybe check eBay for someone making the upgrade and looking to unload theirs.

Oh, and I felt kind of retarded when I posted just hearing about the Mark III when you had posted on it 3 weeks earlier. My ADD is sporadic and kicks in at the most inopportune times.
