I . I picked "Mr Baseball" notbecause of Selleck, but because it showed a different angle to the game and the way the Japanese "idolize" American Players. Up to a point.

...it was a damn good baseball movie. With a love story in it.

The Natural did a great job with the uniforms, the feel and look of the stadiums and I enjoyed the characters and the story. It's a baseball movie!

I don't know why I'd never seen it before, but I just recently saw the Kevin Costner movie "For the love of the game". I did like Costner in the other 2 baseball movies (Field of Dreams & Bull Durham), but every time this movie has come on, I watch it. Maybe it's just the Kelly Preston angle...
