My boss just won the "Most Ahole Dad" contest. Daughter (age 7) had brain surgery yesterday. As in, doctors went in and took portions of her brain out to try to stop her from having seizures. Not only did my boss work all day instead of being with his wife and daughter at the hospital, he never went after work either to visit with her. Unbelievable!!

Wife is at the point where she probably feels it's pointless to question him. Heck, we aren't even allowed to use common sense in the office! He must ok everything we do. That means that pretty much nothing gets done because he has too much on his plate (according to him).
Boss passes over talking to daughter in favor of talking to the son every morning. Wife doesn't even bother getting on the phone anymore.

Sounds like the wife won't have to worry about that anymore. This must have been the last straw with him. She called this morning and basically ended their marriage effective immediately. He closed his door after that so I couldn't hear the rest of the conversation.
