They need to intstall speed bumps every 25 feet.SEABREEZE 1957 said:What time was this? I didn't see it, but I knew it was a matter of time before an accident happened on Town Creek. The speed limit is 30 and people haul azz down that road in excess of 45 on a normal basis.
Same thing on Spruce Drive where the speed limit is 25 mph. Folks use it as a Rt. 235 'bypass' to miss a few lights. Heading North, they turn right onto Maple, go up to Spruce, take a left, haul azz to Town Creek, take a left, then take a right onto Woodlawn (to beat the light at Town Creek and Rt. 235) take a left on Shady Mile to get back onto Rt. 235.
It's crazy and the police need to better enforce these neighborhood roads. I dread the day a person is killed by these reckless speeders. This neighborhood has 2 schools and the speed limit should be strictly enforced for the sake of the children at the very least.
Sorry for rambling, it's one of my major pet peeves.

Get a cheap play ball from Wally mart and when you see a speeder, roll the ball down your driveway out into the road. Folks see the brightly colored ball and think a kid will follow so they slam on their brakes.
This was more fun before everbody got anti-lock brakes, cars seldom go into major skids anymore.![]()

I think it's at the intersection of Bee Creek Lane the next street up from Town Creek Elementary...
Wow, that's a pretty bad accident; I hope everyone is okay.

You need a scanner. Then you'd be all up into it. I have one at work and home. I turn the one at home off all the time, but we have to have one at work and it's in my office all day going off. It irritates me at times.Geek said:Wow. I am glad no one died. It sounds like the fire department, medics and police did an amazing job. I am glad none of the kids were walking to school at that time.
