Anyone have a car/truck/SUV they dearly love and would recommend? Only make we won't consider is Dodge. So far,we have owned a Hyundai - loved it,Honda - the current one and we have also found any parts it needs to always be pricey, and the other two were Dodge.
I have a Honda Accord EX, 96 model, with 351,000 on it. Everything works and only recently replaced the original clutch. Of course I have kept up with normal wear and tear items.
I did read however that Hyundai was surpassing Honda America in reliability results.
That's impressive! I am really liking the Hyundai Veloster. It's a little small being a two door, but it looks vaguely pimp to me. Which appeals to me. I guess for that I should just go balls out for an Impala.
I had one as a loaner once and wanted to set it on cruise, put a brick to the gas pedal, hop out and let it drive off a cliff!
I had a Caprice Royale in the middleast for 4 months. I was spoiled rotten as it has a 6 liter V8 same as the GTO! It was basically a Malibu with a whole lot of motor.
The Volster looks pretty cool and has a pretty interesting side impact protection system. I have liked the Genesis since they came out but have not done any homework to see what their quality ratings are like.
No Us crtash ratings yet, only this one, a pole side impact test, Japanese, I think, or euro.
Crash Tested: Hyundai Veloster
Seems the B-pillar is offset on the different sides, and that allows for a very stiff structure.
