At one point, the complainant compared the business owner to a neo-Nazi. The lawyer for the business owner accused the complainant of engaging in “half-truths and fabrications.” Tribunal adjudicator Devyn Cousineau frequently had to interject to maintain decorum and to keep the hearing from careening off course.

But a substantive question remained at the core of the raucous daylong hearing: should a business be allowed to deny service on the basis of gender identity?
Jessica Yaniv, the complainant, told the hearing she was entitled to receive the advertised wax service and that if the tribunal ruled against her it could lead to a “dangerous” precedent.

“You cannot choose who your clientele is going to be,” she said.

However, business owner Marcia Da Silva said she was not comfortable carrying out a Brazilian wax on a person with male genitalia, nor did she have the training for it. Jay Cameron, Da Silva’s lawyer and litigation manager with the Alberta-based Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, told the hearing that a ruling against his client would be tantamount to ordering “intimate services” against someone’s will.

That's not a transgender woman. That is the rarely seen albino lowland Yeti, who, from the appearance of the tiara, seems to be campaigning for the title of Queen of the Sofa Apes. She's got some stiff competition for the crown.

In 2018, Yaniv filed 16 human rights complaints with the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, charging various waxing and esthetic salon workers with transphobic discrimination for declining to provide waxing and other beautification services to her male genitals.

Each of these salons or salon workers had specifically indicated they only provided intimate area services to female clients, or had challenged Yaniv on her gender due to her then-male name being used on social media, and male presenting photograph. It is worth noting that Yaniv used male pronouns and her male name on her LinkedIn and various social media as late as November of 2018.

Of the 16 defendants, many are women of colour with religious and/or cultural backgrounds which would have regulated or otherwise made it strictly uncomfortable to have close interaction with male genitals.

Once something starts it cannot ever be put back in the box.

This Transgender thing is a farce from beginning to end and should have been stopped in the beginning.
It was bad enough when just the mentally ill were in to it , but now every fat shyster who think they can sue someone wants a piece of the action .

These are sick people folks. Mentally ill. Encouraging them only produces more of them.

The media using female pronouns to report on the insane actions of this turd only encourages him.

Got The MobTM to go after a Canadian free speech advocate (Lindsay Shepherd) which also got her booted from Twitter (yet another instance of Twitter selectively enforcing its rules; Shepherd was permanently suspended after replying to a vicious insult by this Yaniv creature while Yaniv gloats).

Agree entirely. And if one wants to confirm this (and probably get sick as a result), take a look at this abomination's Twitter feed. Absolutely hate-filled (as I mentioned above).

Power with Control
Under cross-examination, Cameron put to Yaniv that Brazilian waxes were services performed only around female genitalia and that what Yaniv should have sought was a “brozilian” — waxes that involve male genitalia.

That prompted Yaniv to tell the tribunal that she was intersex and that she had female body parts.

“It exists,” she said, declining to elaborate.

Cameron accused her of an outright “fabrication.”

“You’re attempting to mislead the tribunal,” he said.

Cameron called Yaniv’s credibility into question and earlier suggested that Yaniv had used a fake Facebook profile of a pregnant woman when she initially sought out the waxing service, a claim Yaniv denied.

Seems like a pretty easy case. "She" lied and misrepresented what "she" was. Case dismissed, recompense expected.

On another note, it's a great idea for a business you could start.

We had the same phenomena here after congress passed the ADA. Anyone who could claim a disablity was allowed to sue any business that hadn't put in a fix for their particular type of disable.
