Trash Collection Golden Beach

Hello! We are moving to the Golden Beach area soon and are trying to figure out who to go with for trash collection. I know Waste Management collects in the area...I saw some Coastal Trash containers in people's driveways as well. Not familiar with them...anyone have any reviews? Any other companies?

Yes, I am aware the dump is down the road, but my husband works crazy hours and with summer upon us I don't want to chance having trash sitting in my garage too long. I'd would much rather pay for trash collection and have piece of mind that it's being taken care of :O)

Have always used Waste Mgmt for over 15 yrs now, never had a problem, do know that some of my neighbors went with another trash company because it was cheaper, had problems with no pick ups and went back to WM

See if Evergreen disposal services that area, they are awesome and only paying 60 per 3 months, no gas fee's! WM is over priced and charge you for gas..also if they accidentally hit your mailbox with their truck and break it to pieces (driver left a note) the office manager/rout coordinator wont pay you for a new one. WM can kiss my collective a$$ lol

Call them and tell them you were quoted $60 every 3 months, thats what I did, and was actually quoted that by their salesman that came by

If you're referrring to the Coastal Trash with the mailing address in Owings, MD, then my experience with them has been terrible. Regardless of the money you think you would save, I would recommend not using them. I signed up with them 2 years ago, when they were Bobs Trash, and up until the beginning of this year the service was ok. Just a couple of issues, that ended up being responded to quickly via email. However, sometime around the end of last year, the one owner I had always communicated with left the company, and they changed their name to Coastal Trash. Since then the service has been very unreliable with a number of missed pickups, (with no explanation), and difficulties in getting any customer service response, in a reasonable amout of time. I just ended up taking my trash to my local dump site instead.

The biggest surprise though was when I asked to terminate service, due to the unreliable pickup and poor customer service. They claimed I had signed a 2 year evergreen contract, even though I know I never did. In fact when I signed up originally, over the phone, I specifically asked the woman I spoke with, what it took to cancel service and she mentioned all it took was 60 days notice. I also spoke with another customer of theirs who is unaware that they are signed up for a 2 year evergreen contract. As things worked out, my desire to cancel service arrived within a quarter of the original 2 year period, so I was able to terminate the contract at the end of 2 year period anyway. However, in a testament to their poor level of customer service, and even though my service is terminated at the end of this month, I recently received a bill for the next quarter's service.
