I have Dish Network, and recently lost half my channels. The tech came out to my house and said a large tree in my front yard was blocking the satellite in the sky, so the tree needs to come down. Anyone know a good service??

Don't call Jeff's Tree Service it cost $1,000.00 to fix the yard when they were done. Bad customer service.

The lady was always decent to deal with, but Jeff himself was horrible and acted as if he was doing you a favor or something. They did damage to the outside of our house and smashed a window. They fixed the window and the only thing else I asked them to do as far as the damage was to re-attach the electrical box to my AC unit. I've not seen hide nor hair of them and it's been months. If I wanted to be super nasty I'd take it up with my home-owner's insurance, let them fix it then let them go after them. There's siding damage as well as damage to my downspouts.

A fellow forumite's hubby came over yesterday and took out three trees in my yard, and did a great job!! If anyone needs a tree removed, pm me and I will give you details. I would highly recommend them. I also have plenty of wood, free to a good home if anyone wants to come and cut it.

Not Missing A Chance To Bash Jeff's...

Don't call Jeff's Tree Service it cost $1,000.00 to fix the yard when they were done. Bad customer service.

We had Jeff's Tree Service come and cut down a dying 100 year old oak tree that was very close to the house. Jeff promised to drop the tree, and cut it into firewood and even asked me where I wanted the wood stacked. Total quote: $2,400.

Well, they dropped the tree and broke windows in the process, and sheared off the circuit breaker to our air conditioner. A guest in the house at the time said that it felt and sounded like the tree hit the entire house, shaking everything.

Long story short, since he got his money up front, he changed his story and said that he never signed on to cutting the tree into firewood. And I had to fight with him to fix the damage that his crew caused. It wasn't until I threatened to call my insurance company that he actually sent a "buddy" to fix the windows. We ended up chopping the wood up.

So in the end, it cost us $2400 for nothing more than falling the tree. Never again.
