Treeing Walker Coonhound Update
They are giving this guy and his sister a chance to be adopted. He was on the axing post - but they decided he was fit for adoption to a person with love, patience, and other dogs. He and his sister are currently at:
Department of Emergency Services
Animal Control
Tri-County Animal Shelter
Animals Currently Available For Adoption
They have named him Skippy and his sister Maci. Not sure why they think he is mixed - he may be but he looks 100% Treeing Walker Hound to me. I hope he can find someone to adopt him. He needs some kind of loving.
77616-Skippy is a black and white male Hound mix. He is approximately 8 months old. He has not been neutered. Skippy is very shy and timid and will need someone that will spend a lot of time with him to help him understand how to live a normal dog life. He also needs help learning on how to walk on a leash. Skippy will do better in a quiet home with out small children because he is so scared. Skippy likes other dogs, and will actually get a little excited if he's near another dog. Once he gets adjusted to his new life style, he would make a great companion.
