I need to get a new CD Player/Radio and front and back speakers installed in my car. I called and got a price quote from both places and they are both pretty close in price. Anyone have any input -good or bad- for either one?

I don't know but I don't want to drive to Waldorf. I haven't heard of the local one doing it but I could be wrong. Thanks for the replies so far.

order your stuff from crutchfield. They will also include the wiring harness for the stereo, and you can purchase wiring adapters for the speakers.

If you know how to use a screw driver, stereo's and speakers arent that hard to install.

What you are asking for would take any good auto tech about an hour to do. Four man-years for a NAVAIR engineer. (But it would be perfect and well-documented.)

Gemmi, try what Lord Stanley suggested and try to do it yourself during the days between Christmas and New Year's. You CAN actually do it yourself in two hours, believe it or not! Fo' free!!!

Failing that, PM ylexot. He's a good lookin' guy with some odd sort of technical savant.

:yeahthat: Crutchfield supplies step by step instructions on how to access the various places you need to install the head unit and speakers (with pictures)

:yeahthat: If I can do it, anyone can. It seems overwhelming, but you can do it yourself, fairly easily.

its not a problem of doing it for most people its doing the little things right. Soldering connections making sure grounds are hooked up properly and such.
