Is this my birthday surprise???desertrat said:A question came up at work about licensing.
Do you need an M to ride a trike? How about a bike with a sidecar?
I seem to remember hearing the test was modified so I'm assuming you do.
If you can ride a trike can you also ride a two wheeler?
There is a “modified” version of the test for motorcycles with sidecars and
for trikes. Exercises B, C, D & E are omitted and exercise D2 is added in the
sidecar and trike test. An applicant who passes the test on a motorcycle with a
sidecar or on a trike will receive a ‘J’ restriction on their license to operate the
type of vehicle you test on.
Thanks. That actually makes sense.ylexot said:Got this from the MVA:

Doubt if this one does, it's got 4 seperate ECUs for the suspension, brakes, traction control, etc. follow the link in the article to the Can-Am Spyder page.GWguy said:I've ridden something like that before... kinda squirrly in a tight corner. Tends to nose dive.
Ha, they call it a Fighter. Does it come with seeking missiles?
