I have received disturbing news from a close friend. Rumor has it that Trinity is experiencing theft of grave site memorials such as flower holders, markers and even more. Anyone have knowledge or experiencing the same is encouraged to contact Trinity with information and opinions. I am being told they are not responding to the problem or acknowledging there is a problem.

Don't be surprised if the media sources pick up on this VERY SOON. It is a shame for anyone to take from sacred ground.

I saw it on the news this morning...........maggots are stealing the things to take it to a recycle place for the $$

I've heard that some burial places will actually collect items left on grave sites after 30 days. Do you think this could be the same thing?

I've never known Trinity to do that, as of yet.

Thieves are taking the bronze flower vases and selling them for scrap. They just dump the flowers on the ground.

These ppl have no morals, I have several family members who reside there. Maybe we could do a stakeout in the park and ride across the street and catch these sorry bastards in the act, then call the cops

Here's the news story........

WALDORF, Md. -- More than 100 vases were stolen from gravesites at the Trinity Memorial Gardens, Charles County police said.

According to police, the thefts occurred on Sept. 21 and Sept. 24. They said the thieves entered the Memorial Gardens on Mattawoman Beantown Road in Waldorf and stole bronze vases that had been attached to headstones.

Police said they have received information concerning similar incidents in other areas. They said the motive for the theft could be resale of the vases as scrap metal.
