Trip to scope out Md...

It depends on how long I'll be there this trip...I plan on heading up there 3 or more times before we move in August. I was thinking a week, but I might just be tempted for two, and add Connecticut into the mix:)

Well, if you like kayaking and photography, then Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge on Delmarva Peninsula is a place you may want to check out. Bald Eagles, Osprey, waterfowl of every sort, endanged and rare Delmarva Fox Squirrels.

Thanks for the tips, I am looking forward to the first trip out there...although my parents told me tonight it was 12 degrees this morning, holy SMOKES!

:yeahthat: GREAT place and lots of wildlife there. Sandy Point State Park right before you get to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge is also very nice. St. Michael's in Talbot County is pretty too.

Hey Mike-- Since you are traveling and sightseeing too you should come by way of Cherokee, North Carolina on your way to Maryland. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is beautiful this time of year. The Cherokee Indian Reservation is too...... just a thought!

This is actually a possibility...we still have property in nags head on the Outer banks...might make a 2 weeker out of it...the only thing is my daughters...we will all go through withdrawls after that long...we'll see though...great ideas!
I can't wait!
