I'm looking for shops in the area. I already know about the Leonardtown, Lexington Park stores, and Crown in Waldorf. Any other shops you can suggest?

I think there is one in the Fowler Industrial Park, Hollywood, MD. Good luck.

There's a trophy shop in L'town and the Park? I did not know that. What are their names? Think they can beat Crown's prices?

That is in Mechanicsville. Well, actually it is in Oakville. Unless they've gotten one in the past 2 months, there is not one there.

Trophies By Design is in L'town. Right before the 234 split on your left heading out of town. I can't recall the shop in Lex. pk., but it's across the street from the Wawa on Great Mills Rd. The one in L'town is a lot more reasonable, esp. for buying kids' trophies, and they had a lot more selections to look at.

I know the owner of Chesapeake Trophy. He's a cool dude and I'm sure he'll give resonable rates. He's donated some to me for good causes. :yay:

Chesapeake Trophy wouldn't come down in price on the ones I wanted, so I may just buy the same ones on line. I would have gladly bought the 29 trophies I needed from them. The only thing she would give me a deal on was the resin figures trophies and Trophies By Design had them for the same price, so it wasn't really a deal. I'm glad they worked with you.

I shot pool league with the owner. He donated trophies for a few benefit tournaments that I did. I'm really surprised that he wouldn't come down on the prices. Was it for a league?

youth soccer. I didn't talk to a guy, a young woman helped me, but a guy was sitting close by behind a desk. The lady that helped me went into an office to talk to another lady after learning my price range. The lady in the office never came out.. the woman helping me told me what she said. On the ones I liked, I told her the parents wouldn't go for that price and she said try to sweet talk them...she was just trying to be nice, you could tell it was out of her hands to work down a price. I just said no thanks.

The one in Folwer Park <Hollywood, MD> is closed because his store was broken into. I know this because I work for the Insurance Company his business is/was insured with.....

You are correct about his store being broken into. But the Fowler Industrial Park is not in Hollywood. I know this because I worked for Fowler Industrial Park for over a year. :yay:
