Roger that. In that case I'll leave the kids home. Don't forget to feed them. I'll PM you the combination to their cages so you can let them out once a day. Watch the 8 year old. She bites.

P.S. I'll make sure the bar is stocked and lots of valium is on hand. TIA.
No kids. BL and Softballkid will be there and I'm sure, my boy, thatkidistight and then there's 1bdz. I'll have my hands full. :huggy:

Fancy only has an hour lunch every other Friday. I'm free for an hour any day, so we'll set it up for after you get back on her Friday that she has an hour lunch........ and that Pandora and Elle can join us .....:jameo:
Whomever sent me the green warning me to stay away from someone should have signed their Karma and don't try to stir stuff up. I have a feeling I know who it is and I'll save my judgment for whenever I meet that someone. I have no hard feelings about anyone I have talked to on these forums (except that Wildhorses person) and would like to judge for myself. TIA :huggy:

OK, I am going to the store right now and get bread, milk and toilet paper...CYA... :jameo:

Not a bad idea in general; at least for the paper goods
You just never know; I always have at least a month's supply of TP. When the last "big one" came through, the basement walls lined with recycled bottled of H2O came in pretty handy for a week; it takes about 3 of those babies to flush a toilet. A gallon or so to wash the essentials. Plus it had the added bonus of enforcing walls.

So.. I'm a firm believer in stocking up on H2O. Of course, if Calvert Cliffs goes to sheeeet; I'm sucking- ran out of those damn iodine pill at the last party we had. :alkies:

If you are down in NC then you are too late already.

:lmao: I lived here for 8 years and know how to handle myself in the event of a hurricane. Considering the fact that this is just a tropical storm, and will only skim my town, I'd venture a guess that the storms we had 2 weeks ago were worse than this will be.

Alrighty then...Famous last words...are you on the coast? I never underestimate nature. I've lived in Va. Beach for 18 yrs with numerous hurricanes; Hawaii for 10 yrs. and a few bad typhoons; Guam during a 8 plus earthquake (that's why we have a generator now) & typhoons, Memphis TN with Tornados, San Francisco with Earthquakes....

And now SoMD that has it's share of pretty intense weather. (tornados and hurricanes).

I'm just sayin' - Don't get cocky with Mother Nature.:dead:

Who's getting cocky? If we have to be evacuated, I'll leave.

Technically, no I'm not on the coast, I'm on the Albemarle Sound. This is not new to me, I know what to do in the event of a hurricane or bad storm.

Looks like weekend plans for OBX and Myrtle beach should not be affected by this storm. The projected path has it shooting to the NW Thursday.
