With Doug Burgum going to Interior, I'm really interested to see who gets picked for Energy. It made sense when people were floating Doug's name for the position.
I read a piece today that observed Trump is choosing people who have an axe to grind with their nominated arenas or it's personal for them in some way.
The intel people who went after Tulsi Gabbard will now answer to her.
The DOJ that made up sex crimes and went after Matt Gaetz will now be under his thumb.
The health care industry and Big Pharma went after RFKJ.
Stephen Miller and DHS .
The CIA pukes lost their botmind when John Ratcliff exposed Hillary Clinton's schemes.
Etc etc
No wonder they're peeing their Underoos.

I agree with you but it is crazy that even "junk" food is much healthier in other countries. So, I'd like to see us get to the purest level possible.
I'm looking forward to getting rid of big Pharma ads on tv as well.
But most real chicken is full of hormones. Then of course the chemicals that are in the chicken food.

You can buy organic chicken. I don't because it doesn't bother me. The only way you're going to get completely clean meat is to raise it yourself.

Gaetz, RFK, and Gabbard are the most controversial so far. Personally I think Gaetz has no chance of being confirmed. His nomination is probably either a concession to him allowing him to resign from congress ahead of the ethics committee report, and/or he is a sacrificial lamb meant to be the battleground while Trump's other picks get confirmed.
Trump is very accustomed to overplaying his hand to get what he wants. He may already have a replacement for Gaetz in mind. But the idea is if you want 50 of something, say you want 200. When they go crazy and blow their minds, they are likely to give you 50 or more which is all that you wanted to begin with. The Art of the Deal.

CNN talking tonight about Pete Hegseth denying sex assault and paying his accuser off. Also saying he ran a non-profit of less than 10 employees into the ground so how will he manage the pentagon with millions of employees. Didn’t we read a report this morning about the Pentagon failing audits and can’t account for billions of dollars? Apparently the current sec.def. can’t run the organization so I’m sure Pete can’t do an worse
Trump is picking people based on qualifications but also people he knows he can trust. Dr Oz is a conservative and he has elderly patients so he's going to know what waste is there and what is needed most to be cut. Not to mention that pharmaceuticals are not always the answer to many health problems. (At least not at first!) I know a lot of people think he's a quack but his approach with medicine is also a very practical one that many people don't consider as mainstream medicine. However, we're now starting to see that a lot of these medications that are being prescribed (for example-for high cholesterol and for diabetes) are actually causing a lot more health issues. Not to mention obesity and other things like that.
There is a ton--and I mean a *crap ton* of waste in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. I am cautiously optimistic that Dr Oz will have a lot of input in helping to reduce that waste. Il
Most of these positions are oversight administration, not practical application. If Oz has the brains and determination to root out problems in the system and streamline operation while boosting effectiveness, he could be a transgender barista and still be qualified. *I* could do that job.
