Did democrats make the call to Bragg to do something to get people to stop talking about trans people shootings .?
Well, and they had trans shootings to distract from...shoot, we're going to have to start a list to see which came first, but I'm thinking it's the crap-ton of money being sent to Ukraine, and the fact that there's no case against the January Sixers, and the fact that China is making more inroads into our country than the NVA did into South Vietnam.

Around and 'round it goes; where it stops, nobody knows. It's Kabuki theater so bad that even the leftists are starting to sit up, pull their heads out of their 4th points of contact and take notice.

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Admits He Used Federal Dollars in Trump Investigation – Who Approved This?

“Our review of the Office’s records reflect that, of the federal forfeiture money that the Office helped collect, approximately $5,000 was spent on expenses incurred relating to the investigation of Donald J. Trump or the Trump Organization.” Bragg’s office wrote to GOP Reps. Jim Jordan, Steil, and Comer.

“These expenses were incurred between October 2019 and August 2021. Most of those costs are attributed to the Supreme Court case, Trump v. Vance—subpoena-related litigation in which the DA’s Office prevailed and which led to the indictment and conviction of Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg and two Trump organizations. No expenses incurred relating to this matter have been paid from funds that the Office receives through federal grant programs.” Bragg’s office said.

“Federal funds = congressional oversight” House Judiciary member Rep. Russell Fry said on Friday evening.

"Obviously, we don't have the indictment, so there's a little bit of speculation involved," Barr began. "But based on the news reports, if they're accurate, this is an abomination."

"It's the epitome of the abuse of prosecutorial power to bring a case that would not be brought against anyone else. They are going after the man, not a crime. And the legal theory, frankly, is pathetically weak," he argued.

The former attorney general delved into the legal arguments that will likely be made by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

"The claim is that [recording the Cohen reimbursements as legal payments] is false and therefore violated a misdemeanor statute in the first instance against false documents," Barr said. "I actually don't think that's a valid claim in this case, because the statute actually requires that it be done with the intent to defraud."

I wonder which part Tranny found amusing. Bragg's office admits to those funds possibly being misappropriated - which means they spent lots more, but that's all they're willing to roger up to unless/until their peccadilloes (I tried to say it with a straight face) have been exposed - and Fry is 100 percent correct. ANY funds that come from the Fed are supposed to be doled out by appropriation, which means Congressional oversight (read: Congressional staffer oversight).

Bragg better hope for a surprising major win at this trial or he may wind up in prison himself.
Wouldn't that be a picture of Karma.

He comes in expecting to be recognized as the Big Kahuna, and ends up out of a job and turns out to be up chit creek.

:killingme “He will be arrested. He will be fingerprinted. And everybody at MSNBC is asking the same question: Is it wrong to j–k off to a mug shot?” Maher said

While these idiots are beating off while looking at Trumps mug shot Trump will be using it to bring the Republicans together to re-elect him and everyone knows Maher is a jerk-off anyway

As I've noted many times before, Trump is an outsider. The establishment hates him. He was not supposed to win. They want him out of the way so 1) he can't win again and 2) as a warning to any future Trumps that they too will be destroyed. This is the reason the RINOs are saying and doing nothing. Only when they realize that this is going to ensure his future victory will they begin the about face.

In any case, this sets a precedent for future Democrats to be investigated and indicted after they leave office. Like it or not, it has always been a tradition that retired presidents get a pass on past misdeeds. For one, no matter how legit the charges, it is also going to have the appearance of a political hit.

Is anyone else surprised that a CNN poll shows 60% of Americans support the indictment of Trump?

Of course if their universe of respondents consists entirely of CNN viewers it’s meaningless.

To be fair, opinion polls are the hardest to get right.
