China will of course publicly feign support. But behind closed doors, they are reeling at the very idea. While a meeting is far from Korean re-unification, that is what China fears and cannot abide.
You see, China doesn’t want a functional democracy sharing its land border.
As a result they will not support this in any meaningful way.
