littlelady, Hattie and I love you to death, but I have to react to this one. This is what the op was talking about. My rule of thumb is that whenever something is too good to be true or just fits my my beliefs perfectly, I need to check that statement out as carefully as one with which I totally disagree.

Claim: George Soros-controlled Smartmatic manufactures the voting machines used in 16 crucial states, and those states will be rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton.
false

Origin:With the advent of electronic voting systems — and public unease with casting ballots that are not tangible physical objects — every election cycle brings rumors that some individual or group with a heavy investment in the outcome of the election owns or controls the machines that record and count votes — and those parties will use their powers to "rig" the voting systems they control to ensure the election outcome conforms to their preferred results.

Billionaire business magnate George Soros was tagged in such rumors in 2012, and he was back in 2016 as the subject of articles by disreputable web sites such as the Daily Caller falsely claiming that Soros' ties to the Smartmatic company — which reportedly manufactures the voting machines used in 16 states — put him in a position to "rig" the election in Hillary Clinton's favor:

I love y'all, too! :huggy: I am not going to debate our differences. We are entitled to our opinions. I would be blessed to have you at my Thanksgiving table tomorrow, and we definitely wouldn't be talking politics. and

i'm outraged at the nursing home voter fraud.

We can't trust the news. We can't trust the "fact checkers". We can't trust the gov't. There is a certain logic that if you can't trust the gov't that it doesnt' make sense to trust the elections run by the government. We cant trust the voters because these idiots go by headlines (and sometimes the stories inside say something different), memes, what their idiots friends say and post, and they misinterpret carefully worded lies.. so morons assume something else that they suggest. I just wish i could go to the gov't and get an OPT OUT card, and wear a bracelet or hat or something that says "this guy isn't a part of our system" and the gov't would just leave me the hell alone, so long as i'm not harming anyone. It stands to reason that if idiots are electing idiots that idiocy will result. I do not want to be a part of that idiocy that drives the vehicle off the cliff.

wont' do thier own

It has been going on for a long time. I agree that the American people have the right to know the truth. Sadly, that will never happen in full, but we shall see if Trump can make a difference. I still can't believe that Trump was elected because I didn't know so many Americans were paying attention. Good job, America! We shall see how it goes. Hillary was a death sentence to America. Hope for change, and all that.

Now that he is elected lets see if he just talks the talk and doesn't walk the walk. All Republican Congress. Therefore, he shouldn't be able to blame any inabilities on them. Particularly since he claims he is a "deal maker". We shall see if he can make the ultimate deals for our Country. Or, will he be another "politician that does nothing but destroy our Country with more red ink".

Across our Country you can see that we are becoming less the "United States of America" and more the "United Nations of America". This is what the Democrats like. One Global Nation. One Global Economy. It doesn't matter whether or not we can economically support it. It's just a matter of how it sounds.

Interesting article.
http://unclesamsmisguidedchildren.com/how-many-illegals-voted-2016-presidential-election/
In brief, it points out that in California, which is very Mexican-illegal-heavy, voter registration is automatic with drivers' license application. And illegals are explicitly allowed to get licenses. Their calculations indicate about 3 million illegals probably voted.

I can't vouch for these assertions, but it's appalling if true.

I believe it is true, and Trump still won! Go America! Americans are the reason our country is so great, and they have not lost the inheritance of the people who founded it, and worked so hard, and fought and died to make Her great. In your face libprogs for trying to bring Her down.

Are you saying that 3 million illegals facing felony charges, fines, and deportation chanced all that to vote when there is an excellent chance they would be caught? Sounds too good to be true.

From the front page of Snopes....

Origin:On 14 November 2016 — not even a week after the results of the 2016 presidential election were announced — our inbox exploded with messages requesting that we investigate the claim that more than three million votes were cast by "illegal immigrants" or "illegal aliens" (non-citizens). In some cases it was also claimed that these three million voters are "under investigation" for fraud, or that three million votes for Hillary Clinton will be "voided" because they were illegal. Under federal law, non-citizens cannot vote in a presidential election.

The first thing we found was that while no such claim has been reported in the mainstream media, it has been repeated on scores of partisan, right-leaning web sites since the 8 November election under the guise of "news." Here are a few examples:

Where are Hattie and Beanie? I think they would be worried that you trust Snopes. Trust your instincts like our best furry friends. They know things we don't know because they can sense danger. My attempt at humor, or not.

I do want to say one more thing, and this is not directed at anyone, here or elsewhere. Yes, we can watch the news outlets, but we, also, watch the politicians and what they say. I don't need a newcast to tell me what I heard out of the horse's mouth. That's all. Nite nite.

Do you really think that VOTING is what's going to worry them, when in the first year nearly a million got drivers' licenses which required providing proof of address information?

In total, California issued 605,000 driver’s licenses to illegals a year after the program started Jan 2, 2015, which is far more than the anticipated number, the Orange County Register reports. The program is expected to cost the state $141 million over a period of three years.

There have been 830,000 applications from illegals, based on numbers from Dec. 31, 2015.

Whether those licenses are allowing them to vote is another question entirely. This blog
http://electls.blogs.wm.edu/2016/04...nefits-the-young-not-undocumented-immigrants/
says
These criticisms are unfounded because while the new system makes it easier for citizens to register while they are already at the DMV, it is not such an automatic process that anyone who gets a driver’s license is also registered to vote. Someone seeking to obtain a driver’s license or state ID will be asked to affirm their eligibility to vote; the potential registrant’s information will then be sent electronically to the secretary of state’s office for verification of citizenship before an individual is registered. Although undocumented immigrants are eligible for driver’s licenses in California, the process for receiving a license is not exactly the same as for a citizen, and the license is for driving privileges only and states so clearly on the card. Since undocumented immigrants have to provide different paperwork when applying for a license, it is very obvious that they are not citizens, and they will not be offered the opportunity to register to vote.
I'm not sure it's that simple. "Asked to affirm" is rather weak, and I can't (quickly) find enough information to convince me it's that simple.

Bottom line, it won't change California's electoral college results - they're solidy Democratic anyway, even without illegals voting.
