Curtis Tire does a great job, and their price is right.

:yeahthat:

plus it is a locally owned business.

not to mention the last time i used Mr tire they overcharged me AND broke off two of the studs on one wheel. They didn't tell me and i only found out a month or so later becasue i checked the brakes. I had driven about 2000 miles with only 3 lug nuts becasue they hadn't fixed it. When i took it back they acted like they were doing me a favor to fix it.

NEVER AGAIN

Check the bike shops in the phone book, then call and ask for prices.
I always thought bringing you own parts to a mechanic was bad manners.

Kind of like bringing cold cuts to a Subway and asking them to make you a sammich

:yeahthat: I'd rather give the local businesses my business when I can, even if it's a few cents more. The rapport you develop with a shop is way more valuable.

well i saved about 100$ on the cost of the tires so it wasn't a few cents.

does Mr Tire do motorcycle tires? didn't think most of the auto places would touch motorcycle tires.

JAGs in Hollwood across from Toots.

:yeahthat: Just watch him close or mark on the rim with tape to note wheel travel direction to make sure that he doesn't mount a directional tire backwards (most motrcycle tires are directional)
