Tulsi Gabbard argues the Democrats have given into 'cowardly wokeness' and 'anti-white racism'

Gabbard, who retired from the House of Representatives in 2021, attacked the institution in a nearly 30-minute video posted to her YouTube account. She did not announce plans to join the Republican Party or adopt any other political affiliation, however.

"I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism," Gabbard said in an excerpt posted to Twitter.

Gotta admit - I REALLY did not see this coming. She always seemed like underneath all her conservative show appearances - that she was using words carefully so as to not reveal how she REALLY felt. And that if she did - she'd never be invited back.

Basically - I thought she talked a good game but was playing them. I kinda felt that way at one time about Tammy Bruce too, because at one time she was a fairly strong liberal voice, but it's been years - she's no Democrat now.

I also don't think she'll be Republican, either. To be a Republican on these shows, you may have to say things you don't mean. Don't get me wrong - I think a lot of them DO mean what they say. I just think a lot of them would prefer to call themselves libertarian, like Timpf or Kennedy. When I watch Outnumbered, there's a big difference between Kennedy and McEnany, but I'm fine with either one.

And I'm surprised it took her so long.

Tulsi is not only a Left liberal, she is a shameless self-promoter. I know you all like her, but she is just shy of Nikki Haley in my loathing hierarchy. I am not forgetting that she took to Twitter to call Donald Trump a fascist over his Independence Day extravaganza, and hysterically proclaimed he'd have tanks rolling down the Mall as a show of his power. That is some psycho prog bullshit right there, and I note she didn't have the good grace to admit it when her wild accusations didn't happen.

I have no doubt, if he could have swung it, he would have had the tanks rolling down the Mall. I wouldn’t have bothered me I like to see a military hardware show, but I don’t see it as psycho BS.

I think I said on these forums after one of the 2020 democratic presidential debates that I could vote for Tulsi Gabbard If I had to vote Democrat or if my choice was her and Mitt Romney. I still haven’t changed my mind. Unlike others on here, I think she is sincere. And smart. And easy on the eyes.
