If I would have got a better picture of that turtle's spiked shell, epople would see there is no way in the world that was a box turtle.

It is a photo of a hatchling (i.e. baby) box turtle. Hatchling (baby) box turtles have spinal ridges.

Yes a few years ago we were using a bob cat in our sand riding ring..I found a baby box...just hatched umbilical hump still visable (wear with moving on ground) he looked just like this...baby box
