TV Reviews

Why do these nimrods writing reviews on TVs etc feel the need to omit punctuation, capitalization and oh I don't know, 3rd grade sentence structure?!?!

I swear to god it's like trying to read a post written by the offspring of Raven and Lance.

:rantover:

Seriously though, why should I care if my TV can show youtube, facebook etc? I have a computer for that stuff, so why is it such a BIG :sarcasm: selling point? I can use Dish on Demand if I want to order up movies and to be honest, my FB page and those of most of my friend's pages aren't interesting enough to warrant updating at 47 inches.

I can see the appeal to some of that, like streaming video. I use a WDTV media player which has Internet connection. I can call up a Netflix on demand and watch it on a 47" high def tv. If there is nothing worth watching, I sometimes call up YouTube. It is different watching these on a large screen vs my laptop.

The other applications that require keyboard entry or mousing just aren't ready for network-ready TVs. Too much hassle.

Your page must be much less exciting than Pete's. :lmao:

I would think most YT stuff would suck on such a big screen. Some of it could be good, but those videos would be few and far.

Not everybody wants to pay twice for the same content.
