Dont mind the crudity of the arrows, they were done on my cell phone.

The key is to look at lines, and the gaps between them, on the hood, it should be the same gap from end to end, compare side to side on symmetrical units, like the grill insert, and side to side on those front fender meeting lines. Is one headlight further back than the other, that sort of thing.

If you don't mind I saved your pics and I would like to print them so I can take them with me when I go pick up my car. Is that ok with you?

Thats fine. Now, do remember, its more important that your car match your car, side to side, than that it match mine at any given point.

Yeah, I know, I just want to take them as a reference as to where to look, because with all the stuff happening in my house between now and two weeks I will forget totally where to look! :lmao:

Unfortunately I am stuck with where my insurance sent me.

No, you're not stuck! You have the right to choose where you take a vehicle for repair. Insurance companies have "ties" with collision centers and they promote them. Unless something has changed, that's how it was a few years ago.

I hope it's not too late, I will call first thing in the morning. Two Guys towed it off yesterday. I would like for a Dodge authorized place to work on it. I'm not sure if Park Dodge does autobody. This is really pissing me off, if they screw up my car I am going be beyond biatch when I call the insurance company!

Wrong. By law your insurance company cannot dictate where you take your vehicle for repair. Additionally, you have the right to have factory grade repair parts instead of after market. You work in the auto industry, don't you?

yeah that. your insurance has a list of companies they deal with personally. if you have an issue with what repairs are done on your vehicle and cant get resolution, your insurance will intervene. if you go with someone off of the list and you have issues, they wont help you resolve the issue (they just pay the money and stay out of it). i have been through this 4 or 5 times. you can choose anyone you want.

Well that cinched it, hubby will not go against insurance company. I guess if they don't do a good job my insurance company will face the wrath of Hurricane Mousebaby!!!

Park used PJs for one warranty repair I had done (early models of my car, the trunk would rub at one point), but no, they dont do any in house.

As for insurance, no, your not tied to anyone. I know that USAA lets me go where I want, only thing is, they wont warranty a repair done elsewhere.

Nationwide is the same way.

There is no requirement to use any specified repair shop. You may have your vehicle repaired at the shop of your choice.

Hey Mousebay.. Just an FYI in case this ever happens again.. You do NOT have to use who your insurance company tells you. IT IS YOUR CHOICE. You can pick any shop and your insurance company will pay for it.

Insurance company's gives you places to choose from. I was in re-ended not that long ago. They gave me a few places to chose from thank God PJ's was on of them. They did a great job on my car.

Of course they give referrals. They cannot force you to use them though.

No you do not have to go to the place your insurance says and no need to worry about your insurance warranty it because if you are at a good shop the should warranty all there own work, if they don't run and run fast.

Yep, my insurance company told me they couldnt warranty a repair not done at one of their recommended shops. but PJs has a better warranty for the repair anyway.
