If you had actually read the post, you'd know that the kittens are a friend's, not mine, and who said I was mad? :shrug:
It takes a lot more than a bitter old cat lady to upset me...:coffee:

I think you have stated your position well. I also don't think the home visits encourage people to rescue. Filling out the paperwork and giving your vet as a referance will give any motivated rescuer the info they need to determine if a home is a good one.

I have delt with rescues that don't require the home visit and do a great job matching owners and pets.
