1. While wearing a full face you can, in fact, suppress/defuse/disarm/stop from a sneeze.

2. With a little help from the road surface, you can wheelie a 750 # cruiser.

edit; (not much of a wheelie, mind you, but, it did come up along with a thrill up my leg )

Ever have a grip slip off when pulling a wheelie? I doubt happens on the cruisers, but it can be interesting.

I had a throttle cable give in the middle of some heavy acceleration on a dirt bike. A total assault on my short term expectations.

The cruiser wheelie this AM was NOT an attempt. It just happened.

It was the confluence of road features and...heavy acceleration. :lmao:

Calling it a wheelie in the first place is artistic license pushed to the very edge. However, I will go back to that spot and try to duplicate and improve upon past performance.

No, but once when I tweaked the throttle on the GW when I first got it, I wasn't used to the huge power, and the bike almost scooted out from under me and I was only holding on to the grips with finger tips. That would have been embarrassing...... I just wasn't ready for that much accel.

OH, OH - I did that a couple times when I first started riding - I've learned to hold on real tight.

and my little 'ole 250 could never be accused of having "huge power"

This is why it is, in my view, a real good idea to start on dirt bikes and then move up to street. When, not if, when you throttle yourself right off the bike (aka 'whiskey throttle') you fall on dirt as does the bike, ideally in the middle of a field. And it's only 230# of machine. And you will be, should be, wearing dirt bike boots, elbow and knee pads and so forth, not street riding gear (flip flops and running shorts).

The skills I leanrt in the dirt have been paying dividends from day one on the street. :buddies:

Loved dirt biking was I was a youngster. Bones take longer to heal when you get older. :lmao: Had a place back home in Pa around the cement mill. The old stone quarry. Lots of nice steep hill climbs, etc. Great place to dirt bike if you're not into riding in a circle.
