You're right to a point: He is gloating about the death of American soldiers. But I don't think this war, the one in Iraq, is protecting us and no matter what you post, you cannot change my opinion. If we attacked Iran, that would be protecting us (and this is where I am isolated from the DNC). However, these soldiers did not choose to go to Iraq. They were sent there by their Commander-in-Chief. And as long as Mr. Bush thinks this war is protecting us, they are needed there.

He's not changing any policy by posting a link about some senile old generals.

Maybe you've taken my post wrong. It's not a gloat. It's incredibly sad that our dimwitted president has drawn us into a conflict that we cannot win. I want people to know this. If you cannot accept my explanation, then you can only feel that supporting the troops meaning supporting whatever idiotic plan our president sends them on.

I'd like to eat chocolate and not get fat, that's not going to happen. I'd like for Iraq to be a stable democracy, but that's not going to happen as long as we remain a destabilizing force.
