U.S. Navy helicopter crashes off Virginia coast

Rescue workers are racing to save the five people aboard a U.S. Navy helicopter that crashed off the coast of Norfolk, Va. Wednesday.
The Navy confirmed via Twitter that the rescue effort is underway and that the helicopter is a CH-53E, which is used for transporting heavy equipment.
The helicopter was reported down about 11 a.m.

Dang. AF just lost one in England yesterday with all four US crew members dead. The cost of freedom is really expensive.

Actually it was an MH-53E. I used to work on the CH/MH-53's. Sorry to hear about it going down. If it is not too deep, They will retreive it and find out what happened.
