Wave of the future? Clever idea, regardless, though I can see several issues. The first one is the ability of someone to be able to lock him in from the outside.

'Stealth camping' is a thing. Using non-descript vans equipped with all the amenities and such in an attempt to stay 'camped out' in parking lots and areas where overnight stays aren't permitted. This pallet thing is just next-level in hiding.

I generally admire people who live off the grid because it's not an easy thing to do. But they're all paranoid and slightly crazy.

I'm guessing he doesn't live this way full time and is just an internet poser because there are a number of simple improvements he could make that he hasn't, one of which is the lock system. The most alarming is that he made an enormous crockpot of food, then thought he could "refrigerate" it in the back seat of his car overnight. Yeah, that's not how food storage works.

Criticize much? And what have you done to make the world a more better and interesting place? When was the last time you put yourself out there and created anything and shared it with the world? Other than a website?

I couldn't finish it after seeing that it was just a BS video made for clicks . He is such a poser. Anybody that has ever camped in a tent, RV, under the stars, or drunk under a park bench (quite comfortable if you are inebriated enough) knows more than he portrayed.

I used to camp in / out of a 69 VW Baja ... no back seat and the passenger seat was replaced with a foot locker
