Gumby wants pictures of Kom's deck....
It's cause I'm getting ready to build a big deck with composite material. I want my deck multicolor. And I don't mean a purple and red deck. I want my deck to be light and dark.

I'm putting gray Fiberon decking (w/ hidden fasteners) on the surface and the rim joist is going to be faced with Azek to hide bolt heads and seams.
I'll keep posting pics on the progress.

I'll have pics up on Sat. I didn't realize that I would have so many fans of my deck. Hell, you both know where I live, stop on by Sunday if you're on this side of the bridge. Mike said he'll buy lunch for both of ya.

except....The 3rd board from the right all the way on the end is slightly crooked. It's going to be difficult walking on the 2x10's from the house out to the deck. I recommend you add more of the decking. And that railing would only prolly work for Azzy. I think you need more rails. Otherwise, not bad.

I'm just signing the checks on this project.The fasteners are angled down to lock in the next board. Bryan (my contractor) is also shooting galvanized finish nails @ the seams. The decking does seem slip resistant, I ran my hands over them after the rain yesterday an it seemed ok.Very nice color. I like the hidden fasteners, too. It looks slip resistant.
