Urgent request for Well Company Recommendation

Hello,

I think I need to have my well pump replaced, and since there is no water in my house, I would like this to happen as soon as possible. Can anyone recommend a well company that is honest and reasonable? (As well as licensed, insured, and bonded, of course!) I really don't want to choose someone from the phone book with no references, if I can avoid it. Thanks so much!

i sent you a pm of the guy we used and hes very good and hes been around a long time and knows his stuff.

Thank you! I am totally stressed out over this, and worrying about choosing the wrong company is only making it worse. I appreciate your help :)

Thank you for all your suggestions. In the end, I called Winslow Pump and Well based on 2 recommendations from neighbors. They were FANTASTIC- honest, competent, and PLEASANT! It turned out that I did not need a new pump - the problem was that the accumulator (sp??) had lost its air. For 2 hours worth of labor cost, I was finished! Winslow found the problem immediately and fixed it quickly, which is critical when you are paying by the hour. Knowing absolutely nothing about pump and well systems, I would have believed whatever they told me and paid for whatever repair they said was required, which is why I was so worried about calling someone honest - the combination of no water and steep hourly rates is not conducive to seeking second and third opinions. Winslow definitely fit the bill, and I would recommend them to anyone. If you are looking for a well company and want more info on my experience, send me a message.
