USPS Says They Don't Know of Sex Offenders

I was just listening to Geraldo and this idiot from the USPS sits back and says there is nothing in place for the USPS to check if any of the existing employees are registered sex offenders.

Whatever happened to back ground checks???? Duh, if they are registered, they were obviously found guilty of an offense at one time or another.

These are the same guys delivering mail in the urban areas door-to-door, many times during the day when children are home by themselves.... Seems like an invitation for problems.

Why can't the USPS get there heads our of their rears?

Not suprising. How many companies or Govt. agencies run continual background checks on all their employes? It's SOP to check new hires, but unless you have a security clearance, once you're in there is no reason to do it.
