I am going to VA Beach next weekend. Any recommendations on things to do there? So far, the only thing on my list is possibly parasailing. I need more!

In My Opinion
The marine science museum on General Booth BLVD is a nice place to visit, they also have the Edgar Casey foundation there, kinda interesting, naturally the beach.
Stop and get lunch at the Jewish Mother while there, big portions, good food.
shopping would be LynnHaven Mall on Lynnhaven Parkway.
Rent one of the bike car things at the beach and cruise the bordwalk.
Oh, and for a dinner place if you like seafood is Capt, Georges on Laskin road, all you can eat and not to pricey,, like 25 a person or something like that.
you can also sit on Potter Rd and watch the navy jets come in for landing and take offs right over your head, used to be a good time when drunk.. never tried it sober.

Thanks! I will have to google the science museum. The bike thing may be fun, as long as I don't run anyone over. Speaking of drunk, remember any good bars? I went there once last year to some bar and I saw this woman that was like over 7 feet tall or right at. All I saw was legs and then I was like woa, thats a tall woman. People were getting their pics with her and stuff.

As bcp mentioned, the Jewish Mother is a good place to go, be it for food or some drinks and live music. There are usually some pretty decent bands playing there or at the Half Shell. :yay:

I'm heading that way, too. I saw Jewish Mother when I looked up restaurants :yay:

if you're not white, pretend you are.
as one that actually lived down there when that reputation was built (the first and second Greek fest) I can tell you that it was not an over reaction by whites due to racial indifference.
