so, in short that was my big trip for the year. A couple small ones still planned, but nothing more than a week.

Thanks for letting me share, and if you have a specific attraction from Yellowstone you want to see,,, ask, 99% chance I have it.
If I could figure out how to post video from the camera I could post old faithful going off or the 6lb dog trying to attack the 2000lb bison through the window.

How are prices out West? gas, food, lodging????
gas was about 40 cent a gallon less
beef was half the price from South Dakota on
Bison was reasonable (had my share of that I can tell you)
lodging fees to me was campgrounds, and they were about the same.

still, the final gallons used ended up at 533, with an average of 10.6 mpg pulling the trailer.

it hurt.

by the way, in post 13, that was a "wild" donkey that was sticking its head in the truck window looking for food. I fed it animal crackers,, it like them I think.
the brave dog that tried to attack the bison through the closed window,,,, hid under his pillows when the donkey nose came into the truck.

Wow - I do not feel bad doing 9.5 in the gasser now, but my trailer is a bit smaller than yours also...

Bring the whole mess (pictures) to Take-It-Easy in August on CD or DVD - we can fire up a laptop and go through a slide show... maybe I can find a projector and a white sheet for a big-screen event.

Take it Easy has a hall. You should ask if you guys can use it one evening for a screening of the big trip. The walls used to be white and it is completely dark in there. Perfect for picture showing.
