Valentine's Day Help/Ideas Needed

IYAMYAS!!!!!
I have hit a mental block, so I thought that I would ask for a little help here. I am trying to find some place to take my better half to for Valentine's Day and the following weekend. I have already made the arrangements for canine care and child care so now it is just where and what.

A little background she is pregnant and due at the end of March, so any kind of outdoor adventures are severely limited. Hershey, PA and Luray, VA are out and so are B&B's (she does not like them) I need some ideas any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I have been looking at Williamsburg, Fredericksburg, Baltimore but I cannot seem to find any details of other events to go to at those locations (other than eating). So if you can think of something please share. TIA!

I would be very happy with a long weekend in an ocean front condo or house that has a fireplace. Enjoy good food, shops and lots of rest before the baby comes. Just my two cents.

My husband and I did Williamsburg for Valentines one year. We lucked out and the weather was nice enough to do a lot of walking around all of the historical attractions. Can't plan for the great weather though.

Good luck. I think it is great that you are looking to do anything!

We need a weekend away, with a 13 month old and another just around the corner our realtionship has been stressed. I know that I am a little late but better late than never in trying to figure out ways to pay attention to her and our relationship. We went to Hershey for the last weekend of the Christmas package inbetween Christmas and New Year's at the Hershey Lodge and just had a nice quiet time with each other. I am hoping to build off of what we found with each other in PA.

Find a place with a spa for sure, get her a long massage and mani/pedi before the baby comes b/c I'm sure it'll be a while before she gets that opportunity again !! Good luck :buddies:

I have thought about that, I have been trying to get over to Nurture Nature Massage in Charlotte Hall to buy a gift certificate for her to have a massage before V Day and if she likes it buy more for her. I know that she could use the de-stressing that such provides and hopefully a little relief for her back pain. Has anyone used Nuture Nature or can recommend a local area masseuse that can work with a pregnant woman?

I let the owner of Nurture Nature Massage know that you were asking,so she may be in touch.

In the mean time, maybe her website might help:

She is the BEST! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for a good experience with Andrea for the Mrs.. Andrea and I spoke last night and I purchased a gift certificate 90 minutes for my better half.

I have looked at St Michaels, my only concern about Nemacolin or WV is that it is February. I don't mind the cold and the snow but I am hoping to miss anything of the sort until after #2 gets here. Its my personal way of attempting to mitigate mishaps (her slipping, falling, or otherwise hurting herself) as much as possible. The Inner Harbor really interests me at this time as there are more options for her to pick from for things to do, plus there was a place featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives that I have been wanting to go to for a couple of years now (Di Pasquale's in Baltimore).
