I saw them twice. Once with David Lee Roth and once with Sammy. I also saw Sammy twice before his Van Halen days.

Went to see Terrible Ted and this band opens for him. Never heard of them.

They put on one of the best shows I've seen in my life.

It was a great show, but the pot smoke in the arena was so thick you got buzzed just inhaling.

Do you remember the cherry bomb that went off in the back right (from the stage) corner and dropped that guy like a stone?

I was scared to death sneaking in a few joints hidden in the back of my pack of Kools. I smoked Marlboro of course but I was hoping the menthal would throw off the G men!

Then I get inside and it's like Jamiaca, mon!

No, I guess you didn't read I saw them in RICHMOND (I think it was 1980).

If your concert was like the one I went to, they were passing around pills and eating them like M&M's. There were more joints than cigarettes being smoked. Of course, that's when you COULD smoke at concerts.

People rushed the stage and all you saw this mass of undulating humanity below. It was so loud I couldn't hear for two days. David Lee Roth was a wild man on stage. It was the BEST.
